Coach Education Bursaries - 2017/18

Discover Badminton identifies the importance of increasing capacity and capability to support the growth of grass roots badminton. I am pleased, therefore, to let you know that Badminton England has allocated some of our funding towards coach bursaries to support those looking to take a Level 1 course or progress to Level 2. You are invited to identify suitable coaches for these bursaries and to promote their availability across your own networks.

Those interested in a coach education bursary will need to complete an application form and have paid for the course by 31 March 2018. Applicants will need to demonstrate how they meet the criteria outlined on the form all applications will be assessed by the Education and Training Team at Badminton England. Only those that meet the criteria will be accepted. We particularly welcome applications from female coaches.

Details of planned coaching courses can be found at https://www.badmintonengland.co.uk/landingpage.asp?section=5589&sectionTitle=FIND+A+COURSE

If you need any help with the process or have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact your local relationship manager - Halima Khan tel. 07725 413879 email. halimakhan@badmintonengland.co.uk

Unfortunately, we have a limited pot of funding, so eligible applications will be processed on a first come, first served basis and once the funding has been utilised, we will not be able to process any more applications in this financial year. We are hoping to be able offer counties the opportunity to apply for funding across a number of areas during the 2018-19 financial year and will contact you about this in the New Year.

Many thanks

Nick
