Masters 40s & 55s Teams defeated

Nottinghamshire's over 40s and 55s teams were both in action on their Home courts at Chilwell Olympia on Sunday 25th November.
The 40s played Lincolnshire while the 55s were up against League favourites Cheshire.

The 40s were unlucky not to come out on top after winning two Mens and three Ladies rubbers, thereafter requiring two of the remaining four Mixed to win the match outright.
Lincolnshire took the top two Mixed to level the score at 5-5.
3rd Mixed pairing of Sion Severn and Kim Robertshaw took the first game 21-17, narrowly lost the second 20-22 but could not pull off the win losing 16-21 in the third.
Con Truong and Heidi Scott-Smith were so close when they lost in two sets 20-22 and 27-29, resulting in 7-5 match win to Lincolnshire.

Notts. 55s were unable to overcome the all round strength of their opponents, losing 10-2 to the visitors. The two Notts. rubbers were won by ladies pair Julie Peart and Frances Fox, with Vaughan Chamberlain and Kim Martin taking 3rd Mixed.

Both teams next play at Home on 9th December, the 40's up against League favourites Derbyshire while the 55s take on Northamptonshire.
