After their three teams have suffered some heavy defeats as a new club in the Notts. Badminton League, the second Mens team have finally broken the ice.
Visiting Experian in Division 5, Safari 2 had to give best to the Home sides first pair - Kaple Chohan and Rishikesh Gupta who were unbeaten - Safari 2 rising to the occasion to take five of the remaining rubbers to secure their first ever victory by 5-4, with each team scoring 312 points.

Leigh Day and Zoe Foote were undefeated, backed up by a maximum from Nick Gill and Emma Butterworth to lead Bingham 2 to a 7-2 win over University 1, which should preserve their Premier Mixed status for next season.
In Division 1 Forest 3 secured a 6-3 success over Mapperley Park 1, Ethan Smith and Amy Keady taking three rubbers. Forest 4 also winning 6-3 in 4B, Conor Barford and Marie O'Brien being unbeaten against St Giles 4.
St Giles 4 bounced back to beat Redhill 2 by 5-4, Kevin Cuthbert and Brenda Wells taking three rubbers. Redhill 2 also going down 7-2 at Home to Chilwell 4, who's Phil Johnson and Siew Li, were unbeaten.

Forest 1 enhance their chances of avoiding relegation from the Men's Premier Division with two victories, 7-2 at Home to Carlton 1, where George Maloney and Adam Buck were undefeated and followed up by winning 6-3 Away at Byron 1 where five three-setters were needed to settle the issue and no pair able to dominate.
John Fletcher and Jerry Deacon scored a maximum for Crusader in 2B but saw their team go down 5-4 to visitors Forest 3. Boots 2 recording a 6-3 win at Chilwell 2 in 3A, Steve Taylor-Wilson and Mark Law taking three rubbers for the winners.
Mapperley Park 3 maintained their unbeaten record in 3B, emerging from a close contest against St Giles 2 with a 5-4 win, the visitors Colin Leach and Neil Taylor being unbeaten, Boots 3 winning 6-3 Away at Rushcliffe Arena 1 in the same Division, Craig Parkin and Phil Marshall scoring all Arena's rubbers.
Jon Olds and James Awcock were undefeated to guide St Giles 3 to a 7-2 success against Beeston Valley 3 in 4A. Luca Geary and Arron Sohal's three rubbers anchoring David Lloyd Aspley 2's 7-2 win over Experian in Division 5.

Beeston Fields 1 maintain their unbeaten run in Ladies Premier, Kim Clague and Grace Ollivent being unbeaten in their 6-3 win over Forest 2, backed up by three rubbers from Lyndsey Davison and Lee Truong - all in three sets.
Caroline Bartliff and Louise Findley were undefeated for Beeston Valley 1 in their 7-2 win against Mapperley Park 3 in Division 2, while in Division 3 Beeston Valley 3 edged a 5-4 verdict against Mapperley Park 4, Jane Steventon and Claire McVeagh being unbeaten for Mapperley.
Also in Division 3, Molly Wade and Sophie Morley were undefeated for Southwell in their 5-4 win at Byron, to keep up their promotion challenge.
