Alternative Challenge Weekend - Jan. 2022

After the formal cancellation of the Masters Badminton Challenge weekend, Nott’s O40s organised a friendly meet against a Lincolnshire team made up of 40s/50s players.
Both teams travelled to Great Malvern, Worcestershire, and we booked a local sports hall to use as a venue for our mini tournament. This consisted of 26 games with many three-end battles over the 4 hours.
The Nott’s team, consisting of a combination of players from the 40s – 55s Masters age groups, became the victors over Lincs. Final score 15 – 11 to Nott’s.
A well-deserved celebration was had that evening (including the obvious few drinks) followed by a walk in the area on the Sunday.
