60’s Team march on

Three Masters Team’s played on Sunday the 13th February. The 40s playing Warwickshire and 55s against Worcestershire both on their Home courts at Chilwell Olympia, while the 60s travelled to Shropshire.

The 40s with debutant Nichola Stokes, overcame their opponents by winning all four Men’s, three Ladies and four Mixed rubbers resulting in a convincing 11-1 win.
The team move to 2nd position in the Midlands West League with main rivals Staffordshire in pole position.
The team next play their return match against Worcestershire at Barnt Green on February 20th.

The 55s fought hard, winning one Men’s, two Ladies and two Mixed resulting in a 5-7 loss against Worcestershire.
The team next play Warwickshire at Chilwell Olympia on March 6th, hoping to improve on their 4-8 loss at their previous encounter.

The 60s, after convincingly winning their first three matches of the season, notched up yet another fine 11-1 win against Shropshire’s 2nd team and remain top of the Midlands division.
They next play Away to Warwickshire on February 20th.
