45s & 60s teams make winning starts to their season

Notts Masters over 45s and 60s teams travelled to Shropshire and Worcestershire respectively on Sunday 30th October. Both teams playing their first match of the season.

The 45s all-round team strength proved to be the deciding factor against Shropshire, winning two Mens, two Ladies and three Mixed rubbers, resulting in a 7-5 win to the Notts side.
Debutant Julie Bigwood winning two of her three matches with partners Paula Wilson and Darren Bridge.
Simon Vanderwalt was unbeaten in the match, playing with partners Dave Barratt at 1st Mens and Steph Clark at 2nd Mixed.

The 60s team completely overwhelmed their opposition Worcestershire, winning the match 12-0, all games in two straight sets.

The 50s team play their first match of the season on Sunday 6th November, playing away against Bedfordshire.
