Crusader badminton club have a go at Archery

Crusader badminton club recently enjoyed an evening of archery with Burton Joyce Archers.
Following a safety briefing and tuition from the AGB qualified coaches, we had some shooting practice before a ‘3 rounds of 3 arrows’ competition. The competition was very close with only a few points deciding the medals. Congratulations to Jerry Deacon and John Fletcher who finished joint 1st.
Crusaders would like to thank Burton Joyce Archers for their kind hospitality.

Holiday season and date restrictions meant that many members missed out on the archery, but we have another social event ‘pickle ball’ booked for September.

Social events are an important part of our club. They help to bond our club together, especially during the summer when members may be enjoying a well deserved break or a reduction in play? It’s also great to meet members ‘other halves’ who are now a regular part of our social events.

Crusaders are a competitive league club who play at Cotgrave Leisure centre on Friday evenings. A friendly welcome awaits league standard players.
