Nottingham Para Badminton Club

On Tuesday night the League's newest club, Nottingham Para, made their debut playing North Notts Social in Mixed division 6. Nottingham Para played each of their pairs with a para and a non-para player and the match was played to standard badminton rules. This was the first time that anyone of the players on both sides had played a match in this format and it was a bit of an unknown on how things would go on the night.

I am pleased to report that the evening was an unqualified success with North Notts Social winning the match, but with plenty of competitive play.

A big thank you to Nottingham Para and North Notts Social for making me a welcome spectator.
