45s v Derbyshire

Nott’s Masters 45s team travelled to play old rivals Derbyshire on Sunday 8th December.
Derbyshire, who won the Midlands League last season, proved to be too strong for the visitors, winning the match 12-0. However, Derbyshire didn’t have it all their own way; a number of games were very close and could have gone Nott’s way. Nott’s 1st ladies pair Lee Truong and Laura Birkinshaw took Derbyshire’s 2nd ladies pair to three sets.
The team next play the return match against Shropshire on Sunday 15th December, on their home courts at Chilwell Olympia.
