Convincing wins for both Nott’s 45s & 55s teams

Nott’s 45s & 55s teams travelled to play Warwickshire on Sunday 9th February.
Both Nott’s teams again proved to be too strong for their opposition. The 45’s only losing one Mixed rubber, 22-20 in the third end, resulting in an overall 11-1 result, while Nott’s 55s team lost two Men’s rubbers, resulting in a comfortable 10-2 win.

The 45s next play old rivals Derbyshire, who surprisingly recently lost to Shropshire. Shropshire now top the over 45s Midlands League.

Nott’s 55s team next play their main rivals Worcestershire at Barnt Green Sports Club on February 16th. Nott’s 55s are favourites to top the Midlands League and progress to compete in the League finals over the weekend of 26th/27th April at Birmingham University.
