Nott’s 65’s team, all set to compete in the Championship Finals

Two Nott’s teams entertained Shropshire and Bedfordshire on their home courts at Chilwell Olympia on Sunday 2nd March.
Nott’s 65’s team had a comfortable 9-0 win against bottom of the league Shropshire and remain top the Midlands League. The team are unbeaten this season and now move forward to play in the League Finals over the weekend of 26th/27th April, staged at Birmingham University.

League leaders Bedfordshire 40s team proved to be too strong for the Nott’s side, winning the match with a decisive score of 10-2. Both Nott’s men’s pairs Matt Adcock/Chris Parrott, and Andy Shaw/Paul Grimley won the two rubbers for Nott’s, both beating Bedfordshire’s 2nd Men’s pair.
The team next play their final match of the season away against Worcestershire on Sunday 9th March.
