Congratulations to coach Mark Attewell

Congratulations to coach Mark Attewell, receiving a Civic Award for Services to Bingham. Read on to find out more about Mark’s life in badminton! Mark started playing aged 13 in 1974. Then in 1976 began his early Sunday morning starts by helping his Mum for many years coaching the junior players before taking over the running of Sunrise Junior Badminton Club which he was still down at this morning.
He's coached 100's of players who have gone on to play club and County Badminton.
As a player he is still representing Notts Vets team at Over 60's but is also one of very few players who has represented Notts 1st team over 100 times.
As well as playing and running Sunrise BC he has always taken on roles helping Bingham Senior club and Notts BA and is currently Chairman of Notts Junior BA.
