Decisive wins for Masters 40s and 60s Teams
Two Masters Teams travelled on Sunday 20th February. Nott’s 40s played their return match against Worcestershire having previously beaten them 7-5 on their Home courts at Chilwell Olympia, while the 60s played Warwickshire.
The 40s won all four Men’s, one Ladies and all four Mixed rubbers resulting in a 9-3 win.
Their next match is against Oxfordshire on March 6th at Chilwell Olympia. A match the team must win to remain in contention to top the Midlands West division.
The 60s convincingly beat Warwickshire by 12-0. Unfortunately, Warwickshire were one lady short and therefore conceded three rubbers before the start of the match.
Nott’s 60s remain unbeaten in the Midlands Division. Their last League match is against their main rivals Leicestershire on April 19th at Chilwell Olympia - Nott’s being the favourites to move forward to play in the Masters County Championship Finals over the weekend of April 23/24th
